Over the last two years, I met with over 50 industry insiders, organizational leaders, product managers, designers, and engineers as I delved into my work, research, and writing on alignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am grateful to those who shared their time, encouraged my book endeavor, and cheered for me along this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDigital product transformation changes the way business happens, and enhances an organization\u2019s ability to bring people, data, and processes together. When you transform a product, you improve lives, and revolutionize the way we interact with the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alignment in product transformation encompasses four levels; individual, team, organizational, and market. Understanding these levels is paramount to moving your organization through product transformation.&nbsp; \u201cWhen people possess a shared vision\u2014and have the competency, leadership, and clarity they need to achieve it\u2014the energy is infectious\u2026\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today digital product leaders have an incredible amount of responsibilities, yet there is a tremendous void when it comes to finding proven thinking, resources, and experience that leads to success. At any given time leaders are asked to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Define product strategy and roadmap<\/li><li>Develop a strategic understanding of target markets (customers\/users needs) and evolving trends<\/li><li>Work across teams to define, design, and develop solutions<\/li><li>Drive decisions around prioritization, solutions, functionality, and growth<\/li><li>Develop supporting product KPIs and analysis of how they impact business priorities<\/li><li>Build and nurture world-class product teams. Provide mentorship, inspiration, regular guidance, and remove obstacles that impede performance of people, processes and systems<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We set out to help leaders achieve success in every facet of their role and build high performance teams that solve the problems that matter most.
