I am requesting interface administrator rights in order to work on and maintain gadgets on Wikimedia Commons. In particular, I plan to update (and potentially rewrite) parts of gadgets such as PermissionOTRS, as well as introduce new features and improvements where needed.

I have experience developing and maintaining user scripts and gadgets, and I am comfortable working with MediaWiki JavaScript, ResourceLoader modules, and site interface pages. I believe this technical background would allow me to help reduce the current backlog ([1] and [2]) and improve maintainability where necessary.

I already hold interface-admin rights on the Azerbaijani Wikipedia (my home wiki, I am also a sysop there). I am familiar with the responsibility that comes with editing sitewide interface.

Note that there have (AFAIK) been three non-admin IAs other than Werkmeister – FDMS4 passed in 2019 (went inactive 2 years later), Dschwen passed in 2021 (was full admin from 2007 to 2019; went inactive a year later), and Putnik (was full admin from 2007 to 2022, where he resigned admin but not IA; went inactive a year later).
